Cask at The Hanging Bat. Hazy amber body with a medium white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of toffee and mashed pear. Flavour of watery fig, brown sugar and wood. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Flat and dull. A rare dud from Bad Seed.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Hazy golden body with a thin white head that fades. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, orange and freshly opened bag of hops. Flavour of orange, basil, peppery rocket and a menthol finish. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Faint carbonation prickle. An unusual hop, but I like it.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy pale golden body with no head. Aroma of lemon sherbet, straw and grapefruit. Flavour of pithy grapefruit, chalky wheat and bitter lemon. Medium body with an oily texture. Lively fizz. A bitter, tangy IPA - verging on a Sour.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Murky brown body with a thin off-white cap that holds well. Nice lacing. Aroma of wood, stewed tea and lightly roasted malt. Flavour of earth, lime, wood and a hint of bitter blood orange. Thin body with a light, oily texture. Faint carbonation prickle. An easy drinking Brown Ale.
