Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy amber. Tight, white, lasting head. I’m finding this beer a tad odd. Aroma is very slight. Hint of lemon, orange. Banana toffee maybe. Everything happens on the palate. Very full on. Bittersweet to start. Huge, dry finish. Really enjoyed this.

Bottle courtesy of my dad, cheers dad! I believe that he picked it up from the brewery. Had this at home Saturday 7th September 2013. Pours dark, dark brown with reddy glints beige head. Slight tangy little lactic, coffee forward. Drinks a lot easier than the 7% bit too cold (my fault) but nice, however overall this is not my favourite of the Bad Seed Beers. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4

Bottle courtesy of my dad, cheers dad! I believe that he picked it up from the brewery. We shared this at home in the garden Sunday 1st September 2013. Pours hazy orange/gold with clean white head. Furry with a dryness in mouth, yeasty, tangy, fruity beer, I really switched off whilst drinking this and would have assumed that I was drinking an authentic Belgian saison, it really is very, very good and very convincing. A little spicey it’s really nice, we both loved it and can see very few weak points or flaws in this interpretation of a saison. Great stuff! A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle courtesy of my dad, cheers dad! I believe that he picked it up from the brewery. I had this at a wonderful house where we were staying that belongs to the Blackwells family in Appleton, Oxon, Friday 30th August 2013. Pours hazy amber with a large sticky white head. Lovely and lemony, soft, juicy, squidgy, sweet lemon. Really hoppy beer, nice bittersweetness, excellent, good thrusting punchy bitterness, some dryness at end, very enjoyable. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle courtesy of my dad, cheers dad! I believe that he picked it up from the brewery. I had this at home Thursday 30th August 2013 Pours hazy gold/light amber with a filmy white head. There is a cleaness on the nose, but it is hoppy. Lovely sweetness in mouth but wonderfully hoppy as soon as I supped this I instantly thought, oohhh... I wish my dad would have got me more, bit of furry bitterness tickling the roof of the mouth. I really like this, if I had one criticism I would suggest that it could be a little crisp and loose a smidgen of sweetness, but it is good. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Almost black with little head. Smells a bit pissy, but not bad pissy, just, erm, drank too much coffee pissy. A bit thin and tart for me. The Missus likes it. Says it’s got a nice 54% cocoa solids chocolate finish. Very specific, I know.
