Bottle, online from Master of Malt. Pours dark pink towards amber with a beige head. Aroma: light tart apple, sweet & sour cherry. Taste: tangy tart apple & sweet cherry, quite nicely balanced. Medium body with light carbonation.

500ml can. Pours clear red with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet cherries and sour apple. Taste is sweet and sour, cherries, apples, almonds. Medium sweet finish. Ok, but not really clear why it’s more expensive than other non-craft German brews.

500ml can from Port Bierhaus, Sunderland. Red colour, pink foamy head that quickly dissipates away to a thin rim and aroma of cherry & fruity apple. Taste is sweet, cherry, marzipan, apples, fruity, cola, with light tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry finish with lingering cherry note. Quite OK.
