33cl bottle, 2020 vintage. Pours almost black, with no foam. Aroma is molasses, caramel, licorice, figs. Body is average, with limited soft carbonation. Limited stickiness. Taste is pretty sweet, with a fairly long final.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours loaded blonde, partially transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is rather spiced and herbaceous. Body is somehow dense, with average carbonation. Taste is fairly bitter. Final is fairly long.

"Pannepot - Vintage - 2022", Fläschchen von Belgoshop.de, geleert zu meinem 62. Geburtstag am 18.7.2026. - Schwarzbraun, fast schaumlos. - In der Nase sehr schweres aber flaches dunkles und Röstmalz, sirupartige Malzsüße, Rumrosinen, leise weinige Züge, Anklänge an Maggi, Anis oder Genever. - Antrunk massiv röstmalzig-mokkabitter mit schwerer, gleichwohl nicht dominierender Süße. Dunkle Gewürze, Anklänge an Pflaumenmus, leichte herbale und mild holzige Herbe. Wenig rezent, spürbar alkoholisch. Massiv malzbitterer Abgang mit kühlendem Menthol. - Auch dieser Jahrgang überzeugt mich nicht: das Bier ist trotz erdrückend wuchtiger Malzigkeit merkwürdig flach und mit deutlichen Altersnoten, die von fern an ein Oud Bruin denken lassen, hier jedoch nicht passen. Muß ich kein drittes Mal trinken.

I’ve had some of the more recent versions and been severely let down but this 2013 batch is a delight.
Dark with a tan head. Bold dark and overly ripe fruits, toffee, booze, molasses, oak, chocolate, raisin. Full body. Finish lasts with oak, dark fruit, raisin. Boozy in areas but not distracting. Sweet but not cloying. A joy.

Bottle from Leftfield beer. It pours clear dark ruby with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is super fruity, tangy, loads of berries, raisin, sultana, dried fig, cherry, raisin, sultana, toasted fruit cake, white grape, brandy soaked oak, touch of green veg and walnut. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, vinous, raisin, sultana, cherry, currants, figgy pudding, dandelion & burdock, brandy soaked oak, vinous, walnuts, tannin, slightly chewy, caramelised sugar, touch of banana bread and mellow boozey warmth through the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice depth of fruit to it. Interesting sipper. You b thin, maybe. Fun nonetheless.
