Hazy amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and minerally crisp. Light unsweet malts. Bitter biscuit. Robust floral bitterness. Unsweet dried fruits. Little toffee before a light dry finish. The bitterness calms down a bit as the beer warms up but it’s still a bitter Alt.

Cask. Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. Hazy, straw colour. Thin, dense, lasting, sticky, white head. Grainy malts. Peachy hop. Light citrus. Get the rhubarb at the end. Taste is light, citric bitter. Some sweetness on the lips. Some oxalic acidity from the rhubarb furring the teeth! Crisp, and tart. Finishes long, light citric bitter. Some sweet linger. Tart and refreshing.

Light haze on this deep amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and minerally crisp. Dry but fruiyt ginger kicks off, not generating much heat. Pith and marmalade and then a little semi sweet floralness before a dry finish. Modest bitter linger. Not bad, could be bolder.
