Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours unclear gold with a frothy white head. The nose has some bready pale malts, slight marmalade, dry pale grains. Medium sweet flavor with some pleasant oily hops, citrus fruits, pale bread, hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty well balanced on the finish with some bready sugars, light bitter hay, pine needles, more citrus. Solid.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s. It pours hazy golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, stewed orange, candied peel, brioche and assorted muffin selection. The taste is smooth, some bitterness, malt-driven, cracker, doughy, cereal, spice, light alcohol, earth, pear drops and sweet me.on with a dry, sort of spicy finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Decent gear.

Cask @ Record Cafe, Bradford. Bright glowing copper with a thick creamy-smooth head. Crisp with some very light malts evident, this is a very easy drinking ale for its percentage. There’s some sugary-maltiness in its nose.

Cask at the Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a hazy orange colour with little life. The aroma is light ginger. The flavour is moderate sweet, light sour with a sweet sugary malt, citrus ginger palate. Light bodied with super soft carbonation. What was the brewer thinking? Pretty awful. I could not even finish my half.
