Bottle ( Best before 22-01-17 ) at Barely Legal Tasting Room Pours warm amber, rather big white head Smell is mostly malty . Taste is surprisingly bitter, with a lot of malts and sweetness from both malts and sugar ( ? ) Rather simple, not nearly as aromatic as I like them to be, or hoped / thought this would be . Not Elav’s best ... not a bad beer though

Bottle at La Cantina Di Miky, Monterosso. Murky bronze body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of fennel, lightly toasted bread, berries and a hint of filter coffee. Flavour of green apple, caramel, yeast and lime. Medium body with a frothy texture. Soft fizz. I agree with DruncanVeasey - this is Mikkeller-esque in terms of mouthfeel and hoppiness. Very nice indeed.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey and Refaela’s place. Thanks Tom L. Black with a light brown head. Heavily roasty aroma with some fruitiness and chocolate. Sweetish flavor, roasty, with chocolate and a slightly burnt and bitterish finish. Full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Good, but doesn’t feel too "Imperial".

Bottle at the DTE tasting, Den Haag. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt with some zesty sherbet citrus. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a dry earthy mineral palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Dobre EPA. Aromatyczne smaczne i tresciwe, a zarazem delikatne, pijalne i przyjemne. Goryczkowe poprawnie, slodowosci nie za wiele. Piana spora trwala i przede wszystkim bardzo metne. Etykieta Punkowo Rockowa, troche rewolucyjna, to mi sie podoba, zwlaszcza pod wzgledem muzycznym:)

Bardzo dobre piwo ciemne IPA po wlosku. Piana moze ne za wielka ale glebia czarnego koloru i zapach chmielny i aromatyczny. Smak palony wytrawny i goryczkowy, troche pieprzowy i ogolnie przyprawowy. Goraco polecam. Swietne piwo i ladna etykieta.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late aakening, small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing tan head. Herbal hoppy aroma with perfumed touch, rosemary, lavender, dark malty background with a touch of coffee. Taste is bitter, citrusy hoppy, hints of grapefruit, orange, bitter orange, slightly roasty, dark malty background, hints of dark chocolately. Hopped with tendency towards Black IPA; not overly rich and multifaceted for an Impy Stout.
