330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, well lacing, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of black tea, peach. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, notes of black tea, fruity hints of lemon and peach (resemblance to Snapple ice tea), a dry touch of leaves, tobacco, widely disguised caramel malty basis. Not what one would call crisp - rather, herbal and clammy. I like it, but it couldn’t gain more quality if pushed any further into this herb/tea direction.

At a tasting, smallish head, quite hazy and a little deep orange colour, aroma, a melange of fruity hops, with some tobacco and herbs, flavour bread, fruit and a quite strong herbal bitterness. Quite nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Cloudy deep golden to amber with an off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma with overripe tropical fruits and some yeast. Flavor has yeast, fruitiness, light malt, fruity hops and nice lingering bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Tom L. Cloudy golden with a white head. Rather hoppy aroma with overripe tropical fruits and some yeasty fruitiness. Sweetish yeasty and fruity flavor with some fruity hops and a finish with mild to moderate bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent. More American than English in character.

330ml bottle. Cloudy dark copper colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Caramel malty aroma, piney hoppy overtones, a touch of orange. Taste is minimally biting bitter hoppy, hints of grapefruit, red currant, later only mildly dry hoppy, caramel malty basis with a nuttily touch. Rosemary flavours in pure state are hard to detect.

Citrusy hoppy aroma, slightly grassy, hints of lemon, biscuity malty background, a strawy touch. Taste is citrusy hoppy, slightly grassy, hints of lemon, biscuit malty background, lemon biscuit.

Hazy amber colour. Aroma has plenty of tropical fruit. This fruity hoppiness comes through in the flavour too. Thin, light bodied. Nice session beer.

Bottle @ Hotelroom, Rome. Pours black with a huge light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, black bitter coffee, littlle sour, caramel, dark chocolate. Flavor is malts, bitter coffee, chocolate, light tartness, caramel. Medium body, soft carboantion, little warming alcohol. And i bet these guys hate Jester King since they stole the name they wanted to give the beer :) 090414

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, hopfig fruchtig, blumig. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, fruchtig bitter, blumig.
