330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral and minimally fruity hoppy aroma, cautious biscuit malty basis. Taste is bitter and floral hoppy, subtle pale malty sweetness, a spicy yeasty touch. Nice.

weird but awsome shape of bottle, cap has got a strange form as well , making it pop very hard when it opens , but not gush . I love it ;) also cool label, as often with this brewery . Pours darker amber, unclear . good white head . Smell is fresh and bitter . taste is bitter, fresh , sharp , bit aromatily hopped . strange hop-profile I never had before , but I do like . Palisade, I asume, as I did have had the others . Intense taste indeed . Lovely beer ! the cap makes it reclosable. Awsome !

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with late awakening, small to average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Intense, fruity hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, blood orange, passion fruit, redcurrant. Taste is bitter, slightly fruity hoppy, caramel malty background, some husk, dry and slightly minerally. Very nice hop aroma doesn’t make its way into the taste.

Thx! to Kraddel. 33 cl. bottle split. Black with a small mocha head. Smells of sweet mocha, coffee, sour grounds, liquorish, light roast, a bit mellow. Tastes of sour coffee, ashes, grounds, touch roast, liquorish, brown sugar, slightly b. Touch thinner than usual for the style. Not stellar but pretty nice and enjoyable. Better and definitely different from the Coal Ila BA version because there it was impossible to tell what the base beer was like.

12/03/2014 Mad For Beer (tap). Ambrata, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianco sporca leggera, mediamente persistente. Al naso luppoli un po’ stanchi, sentori di malto, alcol decisamente troppo sparato. In bocca è un mappazzone, attacco maltato dolciastro, finale amaro abbastanza lungo. La sensazione è quella di un amalgama non molto riuscito. Corpo pieno, forse un po’ troppo cicciotto, carbonazione media. Non è il mio genere di birra.

(Keg at Kahdet Kasvot, 20140308) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had raspberries, malts and herbalness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitness, earth, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. The aroma was quite weird but the taste was pretty good.
