Bottle (BB 09/2018) @Beer Hunters
Hazy ruby color, steady off-white head. Quite weak nose, just some vegetables and herbal notes. Medium-bodied. A bit glueish, alcoholic, some herbal hoppyness. Quite simple, nothing special here despite of fine hops used.

Clear ruby color, decent off-white head. Herbal hoppyness with some berries. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, berries and piney hoppyness. Light yeasty-veggie notes lurking. Decent but not very complex brew compared to many fine hops used.

330ml bottle recommended Italian beer at Johnny’s Off License in Roma. Bought in April 2012. Decent tan-coloured head, fine duration and good lacing. Jet black body. Smell of wood and earthy malts added by a touch of anise. Taste of dark chocolate malts and cocoa powder. Bitter roasted ending. Rounded and smooth in the mouth with warming alcohol on the swallow. Fine bodied. Good drinking (shared with Finn, Tromsø 27.11.2013).

330ml bottle recommended to me when visiting Johnny’s Off License in Roma round Eastern time in 2012. Shared with Finn. Clear golden-brown body under a rocky, concrete off-white head. Nice lacework to the glassware. Leafy hops on the nose. Fresh fruity taste, mandarin and juicy fruits, subdued malty sweetness beneath. Fruity bitterness to the ending. Smooth and fresh mouth feel. Fine bodied and well made (Tromsø 27.11.2013).
