On tap at Cairn, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and some piney English hops. Flavour is similar, with dry subdued English hops and toasted biscuity malt. Dry, with low residual sweetness. Meh.

On tap at Cairn, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma and flavour bring out toasted bready malt, a little diacetyl and floral hops. Like everything else here that's hoppy, there's a diacetyl issue. Needs work.

On tap at Cairn, pours a clear dark copper golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, piney hops and dry toasted caramel bready malt. Flavour is similar, with toasted caramel, Belgian yeast and some piney hops. Not the most elegant beer but it's clean.

On tap at Cairn, pours a hazy copper orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out stone and tropical fruits, a little diacetyl, ugh. Flavour has a diacetyl infection, with some tropical fruits and toasted malt. Not very appealing - the butter kills this.

Draft 11 oz pour at Cairn. Copper pour with a fading fizz head. Is this an IPA. All malt, in every way. Heavy sweet caramel malt aroma. Little hop indicators. Flavor is all malt. Some maple impressions. Its hard to rate a beer that fails to fit style. In my best attempt to rate as a beer overall, this was.alright.
