22oz bottle pours a very murky black with some foamy, brown head. Nose is HUGE with peanut butter, chocolate, malt. Flavor follows right along, chocolate, creamy peanut butter, brown sugar, molasses. Full bodied, sweet finish. Gimmicky, but it really does taste like peanut butter.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home after work watching House of Cards. Appearance is cloudy pale gold with frothy white head. Aroma of bright citrus hops, grassy notes, light biscuit. Taste is really good, nice mixture of crisp bready malt and citrus bitterness. This is great for the style, big fan of this one.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed just after fighting for a dib-less parking spot in my snowy neighborhood. Appearance is a copper amber with a frothy tan head. Aroma is unique, smells boozy with an interesting malt profile, kind of smells like malty body odor. Actually that sounds disgusting, but it's really not that bad. Taste goes down with a light burn, caramel notes, very sweet, oak, definitely barley-wine like but different. I kinda like it, definitely boozy.

Purchased at Binny’s Lakeview in Chicago, IL; enjoyed in Milwaukee, WI while recording a project three years in the making. This stuff was fantastic. Really nice mouthfeel, nice balance of chocolate and lactose, chocolate flavor was dry and dark, great brew to split with friends. Will hopefully have this again.

Purchased at West Lakeview Liquors in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at a friends birthday party. Didn’t take tasting notes, but remember this one being overly tart, like drinking straight grapefruit juice. At first I hated it, then I started warming up to it like I would any other alcoholic beverage. Wouldn’t have it again.
