0.3l tap. Slightly unclear orange amber, creamy head. Very buttery, vanilla, slightly zesty, diacetyl, lemon. Dry zesty bitterness, some malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry grainy zesty sweet and slightly bitter finish. This is a full-bodied, yet very drinkable and flavourful Märzen.

0.5l tap. Murky chestnut brown with a creamy head. Toffee, caramel, citrus, roasted maroon, candy sugar. Dry zesty bitterness, malty toffee sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry caramel bittersweet finish. Nice Vienna Lager, nice to have this style in the city of its origin.

Tap at the brewpub. Light amber color slightly hazed big bubbly white head a bit perfumed. Flavor of wheat, bread, very grainy, lots cereal. Fruity tones, banana and lemon. Strong carbonation medium body dry finish, feels a bit raw but is ok

Tap at the brewpub. Golden color lightly hazed bubbly white head, fizzy look. Flavor focuses on malts lots of biscuits and malts backed by some grassy herbal tones for some citrusy tartness although taste is overall mild sweet as per style should be. Quite raw and very carbonated finish us dry and rather aromatic.

Zum Muttertag war das letzte Lokal, in das wir die Familie ausführen konnten, das Salmbräu, das uns in seinem Kellerstüberl empfing. Auch wenn Ostern schon eine Zeitlang vorbei war, gab es dieses Bier noch. Nach den ersten Schlucken konnte ich mir schon denken warum. Es ist ein durchaus vollmundiger, malziger Bock, aber die fruchtigen Beerennoten bissen sich irgendwie mit dem starken Malzzucker. Von Hopfen merke man gar nix. Ich bin grundsätzlich kein Bockbier-Fan, aber selbst ich weiß, dass es da weitaus bessere gibt.

Tap at the brewpub, Vienna. Pours light red-pink-auburn, lightly cloudy, with a fine, off-white foamy head. Weak nose, very faint toast, nuts maybe. Lightly sweet flavour, soft toasted malts and caramel, light tangy toasted hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Mild toasted malt finish, some leafy bitterness, nutty notes. So so.
