33cl Bottle from Sterk. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, banana, banana ice cream, yeast, cloves, Brinta. Flavour is likewise, sweet, banana and Brinta, yeasty and light-spicy bitter finish. Light bodied. Well made Weizen.

Fonefan 241014. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, banana, wheat, lemon. Flavour is fruit, yeast, wheat, hop, malt, banana, lemon. Weird beer.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown with some red tinges. Raisins, spicy malt and a hint of marzipan in the aroma. Fruity and slightly metallic taste with marzipan, raisins and caramel.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Zeeburg Tripel ].ABV: 8.2%. Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, fruity, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity yeast, pale malt, sweet malt, yeasty, sugary fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (Bottle, De Spuyt, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2014) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with honey, peaches, tropical fruit and grass. Malty, fruity taste with notes of honey, tropical fruit, peaches and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and tasty tripel, without getting too daring. Quite nice.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, dried fruits and yeast. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, sweet malty and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A small, dense, white head forms over a more or less clear, pale golden body. The aroma has quite a lot of banana and bubblegum, with wheat and some lemon. It’s effervescent and dry on the palate, medium to full body. Banana, bubblegum, wheat and lemon in the flavor, with a touch of bitterness. Lasting finish. More like a souped up hefeweizen than a tripel this one. Sort of drinkable but not very moreish. 141024

Surprisingly good bock beer, these Dutch bocks are usually boring or even bad. This one is malty, bit dry and with some nice spices and fruits. Balanced and tasty.

Clear deep red copper colour, good frothy tan head, reduces but doesn’t disappear completely, good lacing. Sweet malty aroma, caramel, raisins, brown sugar, plum, citrus, earthy, clove. Taste medium sweet, lightl bitter, a bit toasted. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Lingering sweetbitter aftertaste, hint of coffee.
