Sampled at CBC, pours a mostly clear orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose is candy, orange, tangerine, a little soap. Flavor falls off a little, tangerine, orange, candy, mango, but nothing truly shines. Finishes oily too.

Sampled at CBC 2017, pours a clear gold with some clumpy, white head. Nose has honey, grass, straw, lemon. Flavor is the same, lemon, grass, honey, peanut skins. Crisp finish.

Sample at House Beer. Clear orange color with a medium frothy white head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Sticky strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, piney hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrus and piney hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

This beer pours a dark reddish-brown color with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, rye and dark fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, raisin, earthy hops and subtle rye. The finish is chocolatey with a raisin aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at the tap room during the "Anniversary Beer Bash" on 01/14/2017. The beer pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Sparse spotty lacing. Aroma of oak, fruit, yeast and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, ripe fruit, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is boozy with a bourbon and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Aroma of oak, roasted malt and dark chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky whiskey, charred malt and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is moderately boozy and oaky with a whiskey and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Aroma of malt, oak and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of vinous oak, fruity yeast and malt. The finish is fruity and creamy with a yeast and oak aftertaste. Overall this comes together pretty well and is an enjoyable beer.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out tons of peanut brittle upfront, with sweet toffee, caramel and candied sugar. Flavour is pure peanut brittle, with cloying candied sugar, peanuts, toasted caramel and toffee. Intensely peanut brittle-dominated. Can't say this is very good, but it's intriguing at least.

16 oz can poured. A big thanks to Jeff for the can! Pours a dense dark brown, almost black, with a reddish, cream foam fading head. A very unique, strange brew here. Definitely haven’t had a beer like this before. Nutty, chocolate aroma. Flavor is quite an intense peanut brittle. Very true flavor. Odd bitterness here. Strange. That’s the word that keeps coming to mind. A nutty brown ale? Has good things going on, but the peanut brittle is way too dominant here. Turn the brittle down, and turn the base beer up, and we have a very tasty beer here.

Can: Hazy yellow-gold with a thick white head. Lemon-lime, yeast, grain aroma. Flavour is creamy, lime, grain malt....slightly peppery. Really does a nice job combining Belgian and Cream Ale feel and taste.
