Thick and dark with a creamy tan head. Full of sweet malts, heaps of milk chocolate, and a light bittersweet finish. Smooth body. A chocolate delight. Can get a bit much after a full pint so definitely a good beer to share.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Black with no head. Aroma is toasty, medium body, medium/low carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is toasty, coffee, And some dark malt.

Sample at the taproom. Pours a slightly hazy copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and yeast. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, earthy yeast and grainy malt. The finish is fruity yeast up front with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of spiced hops, biscuit malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample from cask at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/09/2015. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
