Sample from during the "Local Love 01" tasting on 11/11/2016. The beer is a brown-black color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually to film. Partial rings of lacing. Roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee aroma. Medium to full body with flavors of roast nuts, malt and chocolate. The finish is roasty with a nutty and malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can. Yeast, orange, lime, biscuit malt and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet citrus, biscuit malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Body a bit light.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. The beer pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that burns away quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Citrus, herbal hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of spicy hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
