Warped Wing Brewing Company·Friday, February 7, 2020·
Warped Wing Brewing Co. is a craft brewery inspired by Dayton's rich history of innovation and invention. We are committed to carrying that spirit forward in today's craft beer scene by brewing new proprietary beer styles and our own "warped" interpretations. We also focus on creating unique seasonal and specialty beers.
We have a full-scale production brewery in the heart of downtown Dayton in the site of the old Buckeye Brass & Iron Foundry circa 1938. We brew and distribute our beers to local restaurants, bars, grocery and retailers in the Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus and Toledo markets. Our Taproom also features a full service kitchen.
In addition to distributing our beers, we have an industrial style Taproom where guests can sample our various beer offerings while appreciating views of the downtown skyline or the cathedral of stainless steel. If you are on-the-go, we sell growlers, package beer and kegs to share with friends off-site.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the "Land-Grant Collab (The Corsica) Launch + Empanadas Food Truck" event on 01/19/2018. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, fruit and caramel malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Imperial porter with chocolate and peanut, can shared by Danny, thanks! Thick, dense, creamy, beige head over a very dark chestnut brown beer, as good as black in general appearance. Rich, desserty and at the same time somewhat tangy aroma of peanut butter and toasted peanuts, milk chocolate bars, fudge, candied dates, brownies, almond, toasted bread. Sweet onset but nothing cloying, rich and candied, candied dates and lots of nuttiness, with indeed a peanut butter-like flavour, matching well with a softly carbonated, creamy, smooth, full caramelly and nutty body with toasted bitter edges in the finish, light spiciness, chocolate effects and some warming, rum-like alcohol. Peanut stouts and porters were the first true 'pastry stouts' that have gained so much popularity in especially Scandinavia these days and this is a very good example of that particular segment, technically flawless and rich in flavour, with the peanut butter aspect elegantly mingled with the nutty, caramelly and chocolatey character of the malts. Highly enjoyable offering.

Black with a wispy dark head. Sweet aroma of melted caramel, bourbon, peach, chocolate, light roasted malts. Thick and syrupy. I was very skeptical about the peach but it pairs so well with the beer and the caramel adds a nice, but not overly sweet, depth to it. A helluva beer.

Sample at WOB Easton during the "WOB 5 Year Anniversary Bash" on 11/10/2017. Clear golden color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of oak, yeast, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, yeast, fruit and doughy malt. The finsh is oaky with a yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
