Take a Hike!®

Inspired by the 273-mile hiking trail that traverses through the Green Mountains, Long Trail Brewing Company has been a caretaker of Vermont craft since 1989. Moved and motivated by the local culture and surroundings, we work hard to create beers worthy of our Vermont roots. From small batch recipes developed in our farmhouse-turned-pilot-brewery to wider ranging staples like our flagship Long Trail Ale and freshly formulated Trail Hopper IPA, our brewers are committed to crafting a trail-worthy family of beers.

Mixed 12-pack of Long Trail cans in Vermont - Easter 2024 trip. Hazy, orangy with golden highlights, a frothy white cap, good stay and leaving thick soapy lacing. Orange juice aromas with tropical fruit notes, and hints of pine. Smooth mouthfeel with a touch of drying end. A decent blend of citrus juices, zest and a piney tad bitter hoppiness. Not a bad hazy, juicy IPA with a mild pine-bitterness West Coast style added.

Can from this year's Advent calendar if i remember correctly, while watching some Peaky Blinders and maybe Avatar 3D if batteries allow. Mostly clear dark red amber in the light of the Apple TV screensaver. Herbal malty nose, wet Vermont pet moose blanket, nice. Moderately complex flavor with slight citrus and herbal hop notes. Definitely fits the Vermont forest feeling.
