Cask at Cloisters. Pours black, sweet chocolate on the nose and a hint of spice, taste is rich sweet chocolate, liquorice, light earthy smokiness, then chili hits and destroys. Fantastic.

Cask at The Southern. Pours hazy gold, thick white head. Aromas of lemon, spicy yeast, hay. Taste has more of the same, nice peppery yeastiness. Light lemon finish. Good.

Cask at Bow Bar. Dry and biscuity, sweet syrup, light toffee, bitter and fruity. 3.8 Bottle on the street in a super-craft plastic cup. Pours hazy orange, nose is oaty, fruity, citrus, taste is dry, chewy, quite a funky linger I’m not liking so much. 3

Bottle 330ml. @ cgarvieuk [ Lets do a chrisO Tasting ], Edinburgh, Scotland. [ As Elixir Peas Pipe ].Unclear matt medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, smoke, bonfire & smoke paprika, pineapple notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, pineapple, smoke, bonfire - smoked paprika. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140315]

330ml bottle from Cornelius. Pours black, no head. Aromas of molasses, liquorice, light smoke, coffee and chocolate. Lots going on. Taste is cooked sugar, light spice, more light smoke. Medium body and very drinkable. Lovely.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Fruity, roasted and smoky aroma with notes of caramel, oak and blackcurrant. Smoky, roasted and slightly sweet taste with notes of toffee, blackcurrant, raisins and ash.
