Description
Head brewer, Ian, has been churning out the good stuff for many a year. Born in 2012, Settle Brewery has been using traditional brewing methods coupled with working with local & seasonal ingredients to produce an arsenal of siba award-winning beers.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 12 February 2022. Deep amber in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Large amounts of orange character, some marmalade sweetness, leafy hops, crisp malts and a moderately bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Cask. Birch Hall Inn, Beck Hole. Amber with a tight off white foam. Nose of soft caramel malt. Orange peel. Touch of spice. Sweet and malty with a firm bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Light bitter finish. Excellent cask number.

19/11/2021. Cask at the Harwich & Dovercourt Bay Winter Ale Festival 2021. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of ash, chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, touch of liquorice. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at the White Cross, Lancaster. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Light citrus and floral aromas. Light sweet taste. Not a right lot going on.

Cask @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Golden with a creamy head. Has a stewed fruity aroma and taste with a lower bitterness factor to this.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 26 May 20201. Amber in colour with A frothy, white, head. Hedgerow hops, slightly earthy malts, some caramel sweetness and a lingering, bitter, finish. Fine.

Cask @ Brown Cow, Keighley. Hazy blonde with a creamy head. It’s fairly smooth, with a very clean and a healthy tasting texture. Is always hoppy.

Roscoe Head, Liverpool; 29th June 2019. Hand-pulled half-pint. Nice looking brew, dark brown with a good tanned topping. Aroma held loads of coffee and chocolate notes, the taste a smooth blend of the same.
