This nitro-filled can poured a golden-honey orange colour with a super creamy-milky head. Retention was heavy and not much lacing. The nose was the mildest thing in this brew. Picked up some malt grain. Oh yeah ! That smooth and creamy taste of Boddington. When I don’t want something too wild, I usually order this at a pub for a good session.

2 x 180ml bottles. Pours dark amber with a small frothy head. Aroma is sweet caramel and some raisin. Not much to taste, sweet start then alcohol heat on the finish. This is a lot better if you have a pint of Banks’s, then chuck it in when you’re halfway through.

Nitro can. Orange with a dense off-white head. Honeyed fruity aroma. It’s still a little watery despite the nitro creaminess. Taste has honey, apricots and moderate finishing bitterness. The flavours aren’t terrible but it’s so lifeless and lacking in character that you wonder whether it’s been brewed at all.

On Tap at Holy Grail -pours a creamy, retaining offwhite head. Color is copper with effervescence. Aroma is Slight malt. Taste is malt, cider. OK but it’s not my favorite, it is drinkable.

Draught@The Darthmouth Arms. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, bready, herbal and mildly earthy as well. Flavour is being quite much the same. The fruityness in this one makes it quite refreshing.
