Tapped. Golden colour, huge foamy head. Bittersweet hoppy aroma with hints of bread. Flavour of honey and hops. A bit citric aftertaste. Wellbalanced.

An amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is dominated by alcohol and sweet malt with hints caramel and raisins. The flavor is very simple of sweet malt, alcohol, and plums. It has a very dry end.

Nitro can – Poured a golden brew with a nice creamy white head. Aroma is sweet with some malts coming through. Taste is very light but similar to Kilkenney or Guiness in a nitro can. This is not a bad beer just a good session beer. Probably won’t try that again since there is a lot more interesting session beer out there.

500 ml can, named "Castlemaine XXXX Draught Lager", brewed under license in the UK by Interbrew. ABV was 4.0%. Drank it ice cold, like the Aussies prefer it. Pale golden colour, moderate head. Weak sweetish aroma. Little taste at all, just a hint of boiled vegetables and a faint bitterness. Better than water.

Explodes into the glass as pure foam, then settles back into a clear, medium amber. Bready aroma and a creamy mouthfeel. Well balanced, soft and dry with a bitter finish. A very good session beer with just enough flavor to hold my interest, without being overpowering.

Paid $1.39 for a pint can. Gorgeous... light to medium gold with such a beautiful soft white head. Compared to other Pale Ales, this is the top of the line in appearance. Kinda a nasty smell though. Apples mixes with... ugh, I don't even wanna say what it reminds me of =( A bit plain- slightly appley, but very plain altogether. Creamy mouthfeel... not bad. The appearance is the best thing here, without a doubt. Too bad the important parts didn't follow the lead =/ Drinkable- and everyone should have one, just to see the most beautiful pale ale I've seen.
