Description
Anne and Jacques Korczak brew their artisanal beers in a former barn. The beers are 100% natural, brewed only with local, healthy and unprocessed products, without any artificial addition. The hops (Strisselspalt, Hallertau Tradition, Aramis, Colombus, Brewers Gold, ...) come exclusively from Alsatian hops fields and the malt plant is located near Strasbourg.

Bottle shared by Maakun at ExABC. Flowery hoppy dandelion. Roasted chocolate malts. Sweet with strong herbal bitter. Light sweet, very fresh hoppy bitterness. Medium fat body and medium carbo. Like!

33cl bottle courtesy of and shraed with Maakun. Thick creamy off white/tan head. Clear almost black pour. lovely bitterness. Nicely done.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable off white head, cloudy lightish brown color, jammy aroma with some stale grains and bread, light fruity,grainy flavor with some herbal bitterness, long bitter aftertaste, not too pleasant. Much too old.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks rayaron. Hazy amber. Aroma of malt, stale hops, a bit of caramel. Sweetish malty flavor with bitter stale-ish hops. Medium-bodied.

Cloudy copper color with a creamy off-white head with medium duration. Aroma has notes of resins with light caramelish hints. Flavor has a decent bitterness with good duration, light caramel, notes of grapefruit and orange with yeasty notes. Good bitterness in the final with good duration.

It has a Brown color with a White head, good lasting and medium lacework. Aroma has notes of light toasted malts with resins hops. Flavor is bittery with good duration, notes of grapefruit and bittery orange. Good bitterness in the final with an astringent mouthfeel.

pours dark amber colour with a creamy head and a nice lacing. malts, caramel, blood oranges. quite sweet and not that hoppy for an ipa, more like belgian ale. bittersweet finish.

0.33l bottle boasting "Médaille d’Or Concours Général Agricole, Paris 2014". pours clear dark brown, almost black, with a dark cleamy head and nice lacing. nose: roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, sour milk. in the beginning almost bland, with flavour slowly unfolding on the palate. the bitterness develops towards the finish and lingers. dry finish.

Bottle @ WWT IV, small sample. Dark color, short head. Aroma of licorice, coffee, hint of vegetable, laurel. Quite malty in taste, slight bitter.
