Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Dark brown color, the head reduces quickly. The aroma is like perfume, talc, artificial vanilla. Dry mouthfeel, highly carbonated; cheap chocolate flavor and artificial vanilla; some roasted malt, and accentuated bitterness.
Odd. Not my kind.

Bomber. Pours a golden amber in color. Massive head with lots o’ lacing. Aroma is big earthy, piney hops and some caramel sweetness. Taste is similar with a dry lingering bitterness. It’s good, but rather average overall; nothing really pops out at me.

Pours very dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of dark fruits, molasses toasted malts with hints of citrus. Very sweet dark fruit and molasses flavors with some lightly roasted malts and citrus. Quite boozy ( well, it is 16% ABV). Full body with moderate carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel.

Can’t remember how I get this one. Enjoyed in a wine glass at 50F

A - Poured a pitch black almost oily appearance with a 2 finger head.

S - Tons of roasted malts, coffee and some licorice.

T - WOw booze-bomb! it burns to drink it. Tons of chocolate, coffee and more spices like licorice. Uber sweet start to finish. Lots of smokiness

M - Heavy body, medium carb..so boozy

O - This beer is pretty interesting. Very complex but oh boy is it boozy and smoky. needs some time in the bottle for sure.

Sampled on draft at D’s Monroeville this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy brown head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was malty raisin and molasses. The flavor was malty, pretty sweet and fairly boozy with notes of rum, cherry, tobacco, raisin and a ton of molasses. Long finish of molasses, raisin, cherry and rum. Fairly full bodied. Boozy but not as much as you would expect from a 16% beer. Interesting.

Bottle. Pours clear medium amber with a medium foamy beige head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel with pine and citrus notes. Flavor is about the same, with a definite fruitiness that I would never in a million years place as pomegranate. Medium to very sweet, some citric zesty bitterness present as well. Fairly full bodied and creamy. Actually a pretty nice beer, although the sweetness gets a little cloying with further consumption.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours slightly hazy copper with a slight white head. Aroma is more floral than anything. Med body or less. Flavor is lightly resin with floral. There’s lightly roasty caramel for background. A bit too towards amber I’d say, but it’s certainly drinkable. Has a nicely bitter finish.
