Bottle from Rakuten. Mad River Brewing River Days Session IPA 5% A cloudy copper with a thick light beige creamy looking head of foam. A sharp floral hop bouquet with underlying malt sweetness. The taste is simple bitter pine, more pale ale than Session IPA but ok.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy brown color. Interesting spicy malt nose hints at rosemary and oregano. Intensely sweet and spicy malt flavor is redolent of rosemary. Big alcohol push. Complex and beguiling.

Bomber from the Woodland Nugget. Pours orange gold with a light beige head. Aroma seems tropical/melon/floral over light malt. Med + body. Flavor is tropical/melon - strong enough Iβm not sure about floral. Has an earthiness after a bit. There seems to be a lot of malt, but the hoppy bitterness renders it unobjectionable. Lots of bitter, but not really harshly so. In fact Iβm beginning to think itβs well towards dry. Fresh, somewhat juicy, fruit with each quaff. Bitter persists well into the finish. It is tropical, but not at all light and airy. Lots of ingredients here. Iβm really liking it. A lot.

Smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, chocolate, coffee groundings, wee bit earthy, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Rch and round sweet stout, very good.

Opaque dark brown pour with a small beige head and poor retention. No lacing. Dark fruit, liquorice and medicinal nose. Taste follows the nose. Lightly harsh mouthfeel. Disappointing. Looks like the foreigners like this.
