Handpull cask at the Fourpenny Hotel, Warwick. Mid- to dark brown, translucent with a small khaki head leaving lots of lacing. Dark caramel and saraaparilla in the aroma, with touches of chocolate fudge. Bittersweet taste, sweet and slightly oaky at first, followed by fairly intense bitterness through to the finish. Slightly oily body, soft to nil carbonation. It's okay.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 03/06/24. Almost clear golden copper with a good sized lasting light egg shell white head. Nose is biscuit, grains, herb, stewed fruits, light breads. Taste comprises biscuit malt, grass, herb, grains, straw, fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. Passable affair.

18/5/2024. Bottle at Landshut GP beer share. Courtesy of Jerseyislandbeer, cheers. Pours clear bright golden amber with a large frothy white head. Aroma is very buttery, bready, malt, caramel, flowers, light herb. Fairly sweet with medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily, quite lively. Way too buttery.

Appearance: Clear gold with a decent head. Aroma: Biscuits, flowers, honey. Taste: Medium dry. Dominant hop. Floral, earthy, less herbal.Biscuit malt. medium to heavy bitter. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: Not bad Should be edited as IPA - English.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A dark mahogany coloured pour with a reddish glint and a tight coffee coloured head; blackcurrant aroma; creamy in the mouth with a blackcurrant taste and a roasted malt body adding some bitterness; then a dry finish with a touch of milk chocolate. Unusual, but very drinkable.
