Description
The process of brewing beer hasn’t changed much since we started back in 1777. And neither has our unique approach to crafting characterful beer. But our equipment most certainly has.
Our state-of-the-art, independent, family-owned brewery now stands proudly alongside our old brewery on the banks of the River Stour in Blandford, Dorset. Using the finest ingredients and over 240 years of expertise, our brewers create beer that brims with flavour.

Bottle: a clear gold colour, with a white head; aroma is slightly off-putting at first, a little sickly and musty, but the strong hoppiness counters that when tasted. Very smooth and easy to drink.

This is my all time favourite summer ale - but it’s great at other times of the year too. A bright deep golden colour with a creamy cream head which lasts to the end; the aroma and flavour are dominated by peach, but the malt and hops do make an appearance. Crisp and refreshing, proof that fruit and beer is a winning combination.

A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of nettles. The flavor is sweet with notes of Badger yeast and flowers, as well as light notes of nettles. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

Bottled(500ml). -Nice golden/orange coloured, small but lasting head, low carbonation. Fresh hoppy and pleasant fruity aroma that’s closer to Bohemian Pils than ESB. Slight yeasty and spicy notes, very smooth.
