Draught @ De Penge, Turnhout. Clear golden color, full sized thick lightly creamy white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, lightly spicy, lightly yeast, lightly fruity. Taste malts, some fruityness, lightly yeast, a touch of spices, subtly bitter. Very refreshing blonde. Medium body and carbonation. A very nice blonde.

Hazy greyish yellow. Moderate aroma. Some lime and banana in aroma and taste, balanced with hop bitterness. Quite dry.

Shared 330 ml bottle, probably from Voldby Købmandsgaard, at local tasting, as Buffalo Bitter Belgian Ale. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Very nice aroma, hints of fruits, herbs, gewürztraminer, almond chocolates and almonds. Fresh and herbal flavour, very enjoyable. Not as sweet as I expected from a Belgian ale. Would certainly buy again.

0,33 flaske ombord på Fridtjofen april-14: aroma minner om Anton Berg aprikos i blomme med en passelig bitterhet. Fruktig, litt krydret og god med fin karbonering. Interessant kombinasjon av tradisjonell belgisk sødme og tørr bitterhet.

Flaska från Belgoklubben. Mörkt rubinbrun med högt skum. Dofter av bär, karamellkola och lite metall. Lite oväntad smak där gammalt dammigt bibliotek dyker upp i associationerna. Torr komplex smak. Liten besvikelse i munkänsla och kort eftersmak.

Trübes dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, überreife Früchte, hefig, würzig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, reife Früchte, leicht alkoholisch, würzig.
