Bottle shared at Herr Schmitt’s gaff. From shop in Calais. Pale yellow thin white head, some floaties. Aroma is belgian blonde.and some lemon and sugar. Flavour is soft pale ale, sugar, belgian yeast and lemon slightly sweet. Soft palate some residual sugar.

Bottle shared at Garbage Night II - London. Big thanks to Fergus for this bruiser. Pours clear yellow with lots of pale floaties. Pretty eatery on the nose, plenty of dough, faint tangy lemon. Medium sweet flavor with lots more doughy malts, more lemon, some meringue. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary, doughy white bread finish, some Belgian yeast, mild straw. Tasty enough.

Bottle massive thanks to Fergus. It pours pale gold with a plenty of floaters and a thick white head. The nose is hay, sweet doughy, metallic twang, toast, light spice and faint smoke. The taste is hay, doughy, metallic, lime, lemon, lemonade and buttered white toast with a dry finish. A fairy ho hum blonde ale. Pretty nasty looking also.

Bottle at Rootz at the Harbour. Poured a hazy dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is malt molasses wild yeast sour. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a rich malt yeast alcohol liqourice chocolate palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Packed with flavours. I could drink this all day!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein schwarzes Bier mit schöner bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Schokolade, dunkle Früchte. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, angenehm fruchtig, schokoladig, eridig.

Black with light beige head. Sweet malts, lots of red fruits, light yeast and spices, roasted notes. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Taste is mainly sweet with light tart touch and light bitter in the finish. More Belgian than stout. Like it though.

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average to huge, foamy, diminishing, white head. Fruity, wheaty aroma, hints of apple, clove. Taste is minimally tart, slightly spicy, wheaty, a touch of apple, orange, subtle sweetness; lively carbonation.
