Nice dark color, thick creamy off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, raisin, spicy ginger or cinnamon, bit port wine also. Sweet vinous roasted malty taste. Sharp and a bit bitter palate. Very nice!

Light amber color; nice perlage. Rubber nose; later there is an aroma of malt and spices. Thin body, not interesting, light malt; with a too simple finish, a bit oily.

Cloudy blond color. I don't like the aroma: paper, rubber, somehow rotten, dirty water. Reasonable body, with a light maltiness, some spices, light plastic. Just drinkable, but completely wrong.

Dark color, thin persistent layer of foam. Quite nice malt aroma; some caramel. Pretty smooth body, nice tecture, enough malty, rather sweet, with a final like light sweet liquorice.

Slightly hazy yellow color, with an initially large frothy head, later on small but lasting head. Peppery and spicy aroma. One-way spicy taste. Decent triple, but quite heavy on the stomach and not as refreshing as i like my triple to be.

(draught) Very dark brown. Brownish-yellow head, lacey. Very little nose. Bit of brown sugar, vague coffee aroma. Taste is quite woody. Very slight lactic and a bit yeasty too. Malty underbuild, roasted but not burnt. Light bodied but not watery thanks to the malt. The bottled version is denser - both Tim Webb and me agreed upon this immediately (rare!). Nice, for a light beer. Nothing to get raving about, but a lot more original than the latter-day Pater Lieven series. Half-way between a Flemish sour brown and a top-fermenting Munich Dunkles.

Gold-yellow, thick white head, pretty lacey. Very fine, nice smell of blossoms, fine hops, nectarines. Sweet taste surrounded by fine bitterness, very much like a rather sweet, strong English bitter. Quite hoppy, too restrained however. Palate taste of maize. ironoxide in the head! Rather light mouthfeel, empty-ish. Again maize-corn going into sweet aftertaste. Another one starting very promessing, and then failing to deliver...

Clean golden colour, frothy head, disappearing in a few minutes; too much yeast deposit. Simple aroma, with just some malt and white sugar.
Good body structure, not too strong, pretty sweet; some alcohol, malt, sugar; too simple.
Ordinary palate, rather poor hop. Nothing more than pleasant and drinkable.

Deep gold colour, foamy head, very nice perlage. Strange aroma, some hop, a lot sweet and flowery, peach. Ordinary taste, some alcohol, enough body, some sweetness, but lack of malt and hop character. Poor palate.
