Very dark brown colour. Aroma is rather sweet with some raisin coming through quite strongly. Initial sweetness then the flavour develops with some dark malt bitterness Finish is sweet again with dried fruits and and a touch of caramel.

Bottle from Rakuten, it poured a cloudy gold with a white head. A typical witbier aroma and flavor profile nice enough but it’s not all that memorable-average for the style.

Draft sample @ Eetkaffee Multatuli in Gent. Clear golden & white head. Nose is sugary, lots of esters, malty, slightly floral. Taste is esters, slightly floral, malty, BE yeast, sugary, zest, faint grass in the back. Easy to drink & dry. Pretty simple, well-done but I expected more character from De La Senne honestly, this tastes very general. It is pretty likely that they were just working on commission here. Still more than solid enough brew.
