355ml can, via Beer52. Best By May 2022. Drank on my patio on 23rd March 2022. Slight mistiness in the orange body, white topping. Malty front with a citrussy undertone, oranges to the fore, caramel/toffee maltiness just about dominates.

355ml can, via Beer52. Drank at home on 16th March 2022. Red hue to the clear mahogany body, off-white crust on top. Coffee aroma and taste, some earthy/nutty flavours in a toffee/caramel coating as it warms a little. It grew on me!

Enjoyed at home on a very rainy day in late February. This is just meh. Like a more malty red ale but also tastes cask conditioned...not much carbonation. Maybe this would be better on tap, not really good when from a can.

Enjoyed at home while watching the NBA All Star game. Goes down with a moderate burn, rich in bourbon, chocolate, and vanilla. Overall pretty good.

I thought I've had this one before, turns out I had the DryHop version. This one is still pretty fantastic, nice easy drinking black IPA with notes of chocolate and a moderate bitterness. Would have again!

Can from Beer 52. This is another stout that froths all over the place when opened. Huge transient beige head on a dark brown body. Chocolate and oats combine well together in the aroma. These are both still there in the mouth, but roasted malts come to the fore and squeeze them out. Hints of coffee bitterness and liquorice too. Finish is roasted malts, but with a little sweetness. This is a decent stout.

Enjoyed at home on Christmas day, how fitting! One of the better holiday ales I've had, nails the spice / cinnamon profile nicely, lightly sweet with rich malt profile in the back end, surprisingly sessionable. Will probably go back to this one when the holidays roll around in the future.

Can from Beer52. Brown ales seem hard to come by of late - this is my first since pre-Covid times! It's a chestnut colour with a lasting beige head. It's a little thin and metallic and much too fizzy up front. Flavourwise, there's Brazil nut and malt, with fruity black coffee behind. Burnt wood comes through, with a hint of chocolate, and a growing cassia bark spiciness in the finish. Despite a poor start I ended up rather enjoying this by the end. Not bad.

Can from Beer 52. Pours a slightly hazy rich ruby red with a modest cream head. Malts and caramel in the aroma plus traces of coffee grounds. Malty again in the mouth with coffee, ginger spicyness and berry fruits (red wine gums). The ginger increases over time and is dominant in the finish. This is rather nice – very drinkable.

Picked up at the Binny’s in Everston. Deep gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma is a mix of lemon peel and honey. Interesting, but the blend fails to be all that enticing. Taste is very mildly bitter up front, sweeter at the end with the honey becoming more noticeable. There’s also a pleasant citric twist. Falls down on body though, texture is too watery. Overall, decent.
