Bügelverschlußflasche: Cloudy, floaties visible, orangey coloured, big, slowly collapsing off-white head, impressive aromatic and resinous hoppy nose, accompanied by a good (Riesling-) vinous fruitiness, traces of malt in the background; impressive bitter-sweet flavour with a light tartness, light bodied; dryish aromatic-hoppy and tart fruity finish with a tinge of juniper. Gorgeous stuff.................

Bottled (batch #49, BBE 2012)
Dark brown color, not much head (some off-white foam only). Ginger and roasted notes in the nose. Medium to full bodied. Ginger-caramelly flavor, some coffeish notes too. Interesting Christmas beer, but not too enjoyable to fell in love at Christmas table with this one.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange and with a dense white head. Some yeast at bottom. Slight fruity, hoppy and mildly spiced aroma. Flavour is sweet caramel malty and leads into a nice yeasty and spiced flavour afterwards. Has a solid bitterness and delicate spice note lingering into the finish. Well done - very nice brew, alcohol is scarily wellhidden under the spices.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange and with a huge, dense and light orange toned head. Peach, pineapple and citrus fruity aroma with a solid caramel maltbase, slight spiced. Soft caramel malt with a solid sweetness (but not too much) and a fruity flavour leading into a solid bitterness in the finish. Powerfull pale ale.

Very dark color; creamy head. Aroma of caramel and spices (cinnamon overall). Medium body, caramel flavor, strong; light sweetness and some spices, unfortunately also some vegetables touch and a bit metallic at the end. Controversial.

Dark brown color. The aroma, with the caramel, is a bit herbal. Medium body; malt and caramel flavor. Too simple.

Cloudy blond color. The cereals aroma reminds me some peanuts too, but perfumy. The body is medium-thin, with some malt and average bitterness, but too simple.
