Bottle shared at Andrew's b-day bash. Pours a clearish copper with a full 2 fingers of foam that lingers. Lovely brett driven nose with twigs, woody oak, grain, creamy vanilla, dried orange peel and vinous wine notes. Mild tartness on the palate, but a nice creamy character from the oak. More brett and subtle red wine notes. Lingering funk and bright creamy notes. --- Beer merged from original tick of Funk Farm Barrel-Aged Farmhouse Ale w/ Brettanomyces on 16 Sep 2018 at 16:48 - Score: 8

On tap at Good People, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light earthy coffee, toasted malt and some hearty oats. Flavour is along the same lines, with hearty oats, light coffee and toasted malt. Hearty and decently structured. Not bad.

On tap at Good People, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty, with a subdued earthy hop character and lots of bready malt. Flavour is way too malty, with earthy hops, herbal notes and sweet bready malt. Way too malty, the hops aren't dialed in right, and there is no cohesion. Uncoordinated.

On tap at Good People, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma smells like unfermented wort, with subdued earthy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is anything but a northeast style IPA, with earthy hops, unfermented wort and crusty bread. I'm not sure what they intended here, but this doesn't work at all. Go back to the drawing board with this one.

On tap at Good People, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, with toasted crackery malt and toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted caramel, bready malt and resinous hops. Reasonably enough balanced, with a rather sweet malty finish. Okay.

12 oz can. Pkg 05/07/18 printed on the rim of the bottom of the can. The pour is opaque brown golden with a 2 inch khaki head that falls rockily. The aroma is char roast coffee along with some pine. The taste has a bunch of pine up front, followed quickly by the roast char coffee. The palate is medium bodied, active carbonation and mineral roast finish. Nice take.

Good DIPA, wickedly bitter but with a deep, rich caramel backbone and tons of grapefruit and orange marmalade hop notes. Grows peppery and dry on the back end, with loads of pine leading to a clingy, resinous fade. Texture’s a bit spiky—no doubting the ABV on this one—but still a solid beer.
