Bottle from bierkoning (Edo) @ De Bierkoning, shared with Alice & Jan. Brown color, not much head. Aroma’s of raisins, dried fruit, toffee. Flavor is much like coffee at first, then moderately sweet, roasted, dried fruit, raisins. Alcohol is warming. Medium bodied. Long finish with no new flavors. Clearly aged, in a nice way.

Bottle, RBESG 2013 @ Rooie Dop brew dungeon. Hazy golden colour, off-white head. Nose is sweet malted, bit of yeast, citric, bit sugary. Flavour is malty, light hoppy, some spices. Medium carbonation. Fairly bitter and slightly sweet finish.

Bottle, RBESG 2013 @ Rooie Dop brew dungeon. Light brown colour with a tan head. Nose is caramel malts, dried fruits, bit of candy sugar. Flavour is caramel, dried fruits, raisins. Slightly alcoholic. Finish is fairly sweet.

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours clear brown with a fine, beige cream head. Some meat in the nose, faint smoke, toasted brown sugar. Medium sweet flavor with light dry chocolate, burnt meat, some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary dark malt finish with milk chocolate, some smoke, more meat. Interesting and rather tasty.

33cl Bottle from Rooie Dop Brewdungeon. Deep dark brown to black colour, light-beige head. Aroma of liquorice, resin, pine, moccha, some booze. Flavour of roasted malts, moccha, liquorice, pine, coffee, sweet chocolate, hoppy bitter finish. Light-bodied. I'd happily drink another one of these.

Slightly hazy copper colour, firm white head. Aroma of malts, honey, raisins, nuts, quite spicy. Bitter flavour, sweet malts, caramel, nuts. Bitter hoppy finish, malts.
