Description

Slightly hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of apple, green apple, quite sweet, fruit, bubblegum and honey. Quite bitter hoppy flavour, sweet malts. Bitter finish, caramel, light sweet notes, bubblegum and fruits.
Nice brew! /And on an entirely unrelated note: during this rating, on the first day of the Brugs Beer Festival -we went there later-, my pen broke down. The exact one I got last year at the hotel I stayed in at Brugge, for -indeed- the previous BAB festival. Almost as if the pen knows..
(From 33cL bottle, shared @ The Plow Street Residence. From trade with Bierkoning. Thanks!!)

Clear orange golden colour, white head. Aroma of alcohol, fusel oils, fruit syrup, strange malty. Quite bitter flavour, salty liquorice (salmiak), wood, wood varnish, coriander seeds, malts. Bitter finish, some caramel, some liquorice.
Strange beer. Judging from the other ratings I’m guessing it’s an off bottle. Warrants a re-rate.
