Can from HOTM. Clear bronzey gold with an impressive white lid and a soft fizz. Buttery up front with a touch of lemon. A crisp, clean grassy bitter finish with a touch of dryness keeps this very refreshing. An excellent Czech pils - high praise coming from someone who's not normally a fan of the pale lager styles.

1l PETka. Unclear amber with a small foamy head. Buttery, resinous, caramel, lemon zest, slightly metallic, vanilla, grassy. Hoppy zesty metallic bitterness, malty grainy buttery sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy zesty metallic grainy bitterswwet finish. A rather crisp bitter and tasty Czech Pilsner!

1.5L Bottle - Amber with a haze and small but thick head. Bread, dough, grass and some slightly toasted and fruity notes in the aroma. Bready and grassy taste with some toasted and biscuity notes being noticeable alongside a very subtle hint of dried fruit. Quite complex as far as a desítka goes.

1L Bottle - Light amber with a fairly small head. Grain, grass and some hints of honey in the aroma. Grass hops and a fair amount of bitterness feature in the taste along with notes of floral hops, grain and some hints of dried fruit.

Label says svetly lezak but this looks and tastes like a polotmavy. Pours mid amber, quite hazy, maybe even slightly murky. Mid sized or a tad below mid sized white head, good enough retention, nice lacing. A not too bright, slightly subdued aroma: caramel with hints of honey, a hint of citric fruitiness among a quite vivid floral hoppiness (still in the background with sweet maltiness taking the main stage). More balance and vividness in taste: Sweet caramel malts, perhaps the slightest hint of nuttiness, a hint of citric freshness in the mouth, a pretty strong, dry floral finish and aftertaste, with a good dose of bitterness to it. Quite good taste intensity, not bad at all tastewise but slightly messy/unclean. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation, perhaps a tad denser than usual for a 5%abv lager. Still quite enjoyable, but far from convincing.
