Draft at Rustico. Poured a dark, almost black color with a small tan head. Aroma was light chocolate, roasted malts are heavy in this one. Light woody notes. Flavor was roasted malts, light spice notes and a finish of light chocolate. Alcohol is pretty well hidden.

Tap into a snifter showing black with coffee rims and half a finger of tanned foam. The nose shows a lot of heavily roasted coffee forwardness. The palate is medium bodied and moderate but smoothly carbonated. Flavors of strong roasted coffee bitterness but very lightly sweet with a toasted bitterness on the finish.

Lotsvof good roast and a hint of lime hops. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Great body, and a hint of licorice like an absinthe hangover. Some caramel. Tap at Ocelot.

Lots of coffee here but in some sense this actually works. Wasn’t sure how this infusion would come together. Pours hazy brown with oily coffee sheen. Some sugared malt and a little floral vibe. Bitter and mash malt finish. Cask at Churchkey.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, cloudy orange color, floral and onion aroma, onion, grapefruit and shrubs flavor, very dry, mellow medium strong bitterness, peachy aftertaste. Fresh and really enjoyable.
