Description
Temple Cider is a small-scale craft cider maker in West Dorset. We create delicious, full-juice cider, in the traditional way, but with an attention to detail that produces very clean-tasting cider. We pick the apples, we press the apples and then we make the cider; all with our own fair hands. All of our delicious Dorset ciders are made from 100% freshly pressed apples. They are suitable for vegans and are gluten-free.

Bottle from Scrattings. It pours clear rich amber with no head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, earth, apple skin, damp leaves, dried apple, tang, baked goods, apple pie, fruit cake, light citric tang and hot toddy with a slice of lemon. The taste is firmly dry upfront, earthy, toothy, big oak character, tannin, soft apple, leather, spice, light warmth, hot toddy, hint of vanilla, black tea and chai latte with a very drying, oaky finish. Medium body and still. An interesting cider for sure. A bit too dry and oaked for one to consume many, but perhaps that's a good thing?
