Bottle to glass. Have had every so often and first rating. Faint rounded malt aroma. Slightly hazed amber/chestnut with sustained light tan head. Flavor is rich malt. Nice.

Keg at the Cramond Inn, after a cycle to get there. Nice to see the place reopened. Pours like John Smith's Smoothflow, perhaps a shade darker. Malty and lightly spiced aromas. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish. Not as wassy as expected.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Amber brown colpur, off-white foam head and aroma of malt, toffee, fruit cake, wood, oak. Taste is sweet, malty, toffee, caramel, fruit loaf, raisins, with woody, oaky notes and nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, malty nutty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
