A slightly hazy light orange beer with a small dense white head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy with notes of honey, coriander, oranges, and lemon. The flavor is very sweet and quite spicy with notes of coriander, but also lots of citrus especially lemon, and apples, as well as flowers. The lemon makes it slightly sour. The body is very light, though not thin, which makes it very easily drinkable. The slight sourness and the flowery touches makes it a good thirst quencher on a hot summer day, but it is a bit boring if You look for a beer with a lot of character.

Bottle, as Golden Christmas Ale. Weak green apple aroma. Greyish brown colour, very small head. Malty flavour with some nice fruity bonbon to it. Quite sweet. 5 3 6 3 13
2006 bottle. Sweet, slightly funky Belgian yeast aroma. Slightly hazy chestnut colour. Small, creamy light brown head. The mouthfeel is creamy but it finishes a little thin. Distinct Belgian yeast flavour. Some esters and a bit peppery. 6 3 7 3 15

Bottle. Surprisingly little aroma. Reddish chestnut colour. Very small head. The flavour, on the other hand, has some power. Very malty, nice strong bonbon flavour. Balanced quite well against the alcohol. I like this one.

Bottled. Semi-clear, light yellowish golden with a white head. Grape-fruit and banana in aroma. Thin body. Fruity taste with green apples. Ok on a hot summerday. Nothing to go crazy about. (051101)

Bottled. Dark golden with a small beige head. Banana dominates the aroma, with alcohol in the background. Artificial fruits and alcohol makes most of the flavour. Prickling mouthfeel and fruity aftertaste. (051018)

Draught
Dark amber color. Light, sweet malty aroma. Skunky taste, alcoholic, some sugars, lactic. Spoiled. I hate Gulliver tonight! I leave the beer on the table...

Bottle. Another disapointing beer from Jacobsen. Creamy good head, but mostly diminishing, malty aroma but not nice. Average flavour. Too carbonated.
