They brewed on their own 20BBL plant, located in Poole In Wharfedale, Otley, in April 2010.
The brewery closed in Spring 2015 with production shifting to becoming contract brewed at Hambleton in 2016.
Beers sold under the Firestorm name "are what happens when Brewer Steve plays.".

Hand pulled cask ale at Waggon & Horses, half pint. Jet black body, spotty lacework. Plain aroma of chocolate malts. Mild taste of chocolate malts, mid-sweet. Smooth bittersweet aftertaste. Soft in the mouth. Easy to drink. Quite pleasant (York, 26.01.2013).

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a fine, foamy white head. Light pale malt nose with hints of tangy lemon. Light sweet flavor, some doughy white bread, citric bitterness, some hay. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Simple finish, some dried straw and biscuity pale malts, hints of lemon. Very basic and slightly lacking in condition.

Golden bitter with light malts in its aroma and taste. Practically no head.

Cask, full pint with the food at JDW Manchester & County. Nitro, creamy, off-white head with fine lacework blanketing the glass. Near-clear, dark amber coloured body. Aroma of mid-sweet malts and leafy hops. Taste of leafy hops mingled with chocolate and nuts. Bitter ending. Medium to thin bodied. Ok partner to the food (Manchester, 21.01.2013).

Pint from cask (handpull) at Manchester & County (JDW), Manchester. Copper coloured with a small head. Aroma of malt, fruits, caramel and citrus. Sweet with a pleasantly bitter and slightly citrussy finish. A bit watery, but pleasant and refreshing. (2013-01-25)

500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington covered market. Clear orange amber colour, white head and slight hoppy malt aroma with an orangey note. Taste is malt caramel, some sweetness with light fruity hop bitterness, to a warming dryish bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Quite smooth. OK.

(Cask at Dog & Duck, Soho, London, 25 Nov 2012) Golden colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, slightly malty nose with orange and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange, a soft malt character and a gentle citric bitterness in the finish. Light body, with balanced sweetness. Quite decent, but lacking something extra.

Cask (handpump) @ The Drum (JDW), 557-559 Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, London, Greater London, England E10 7EQ.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sour keller notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2012, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120118]

Cask handpull at Old Thameside. Hazy gold thin white head. Doesnt look good and not great to taste. Bit dirty bit of puke some citrus fruit some hop sting on finish. Below average
