Shared can at home, thanks to Maakun. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolatey malts. Massive sweet and bitter. Nice dry and roasty. Over medium body and soft carbonation. Bit simple and overly sweet. Yet still a treat. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bijna Twintig on 12 Jun 2020 at 00:11 - Score: 7. Original review text: Black with tan head. Bottled from keg I think. Pours an almost black colour and a frothy beige head with reasonable retention. Aroma's of bitter hops, roast, licorice, drop. Flavour is light moderate sweet, droppig, light bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes roasty, moderate bitter. Nice porter. Oh wait.
Edit: the second glass (after leaving the bottle in the fridge for a few hours) is considerably less sweet.

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2020) Amber colour, hazy, with creamy off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of caramel, strawberries and flowers. Fruity, malty taste with caramel, strawberries, hints of yeast and a fairly low bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty but fairly uncomplicated, it's mainly about strawberries. Quite enjoyable.

Malty, roasted taste with liquorice, dark chocolate, mint, lime, orange, herbs and a mild roasty bitterness in the finish. Full body, quite sweet. On the sweet side and quite different, but chewy and tasty. Nice one.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 26 Feb 2020) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with orange peel, toffee, black-currant and caramel. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, treacle-toffee, orange peel, dried apriocts, raisins and a balanced spicy bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. A bit boozy, but warming and really tasty. Very nice.
