On tap @ Arendsnest. This is a really dark and near black brown colored one with a tall lasting and lingering brown head, leaving lots of dots down the glass. It has a nose composed of vanilla, lots of dark bitter chocolate. I get tones of really black salty licorice and a little hint of burnt malt. Like it for sure. It has a medium oily texture in the mouth and it's soft to average on the prickling carbonation. Sweetish and lactose milky. Lots of dark roasted malts, some traces of licorice and old coffee with cream. Not a massive success for my palate perhaps, but it's scary well camouflaged for a 9.5 percenter. 24.09.2015

0,33l bottle at home. BB 02/2017. amber hazy color, small white head. smells of caramel, resin, spices, rather old hoppy, some candy, traces of some exotic fruits. ok smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick moutfheel. tastes of resin, old hoppy notes again, herbs, bit grassy, lightly citric, some lychee notes, caramel, light alcohol. finshes lightly bitter with notes of resin, caramel and some lychee notes. ok one, taste a bit oldish, also quite heavy. overall still decent though.

Draft at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam. Golden with white head. Heavy lacing. Aroma of light malts with some fruitiness. Taste improves on aroma - light malts but with more fruitiness, citrus, caramel and pine notes. Not bad.

Golden colour with lasting thin head. Nice fruity hoppy aroma with a touch of lychee. Not overly syrupy or bitter. Easy to drink for a strong beer.

On tap at ’Beertemple’. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, fruity-herbal and a little floral aroma of lemongrass, straw, gooseberry and some pineapple. Sweetish, a little sourish, fruity-grassy, herbal and slightly floral taste of lemongrass, ginger, pineapple, grass and gooseberry, followed by a short, slightly bitter, grassy and herbal finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Clear deep golden colour, good frothy off-white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, grass, light citrus. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light citrus, dusty, spicy notes. Malty bittersweet finish, still somewhat dusty, peppery notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, decent pale ale.
