On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Black beer big tan head. Not sure what I expected. It’s fine. Some vanilla creamy chocolate on the aroma. Some chocolate liqueur in the kouth and even a bit of bite on the finish. It is sweet chocolate but not boozy. Some heat on the finish good sweet chocolate.

On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Black beer lasting beige head. Strong chocolate aroma. Slightly fruitier in the mouth more juicy. It’s actually a very drinkable dark beer. Nothing showy but it works well together. But of lactose maybe. OK.

Draft at Beer Temple. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, nuts coming out with caramel, light coffee and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
