440ml bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a small non-lasting beige head. Sweet malty aroma, caramel, toffee and fruits. Flavour is also heavily on the malty side, predominantly caramel and toffee notes, fruity and bready, "mountains of hops" it most certainly does not have, the finish is a little bitter - medicinal/metallic though. Medium body, average carbonation. Disappointing for my first South African craft beer.

Amber to red in appearance. Aroma and flavour have strong malts and resinous hop bitterness. This is countered by syrupy sweet red fruits.

From bottle at All Points North tasting Edinburgh. Appearance - cloudy golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - authentic hefe with banana and light spice. A bit farmyard too. Taste - more spicy banana and light toffee. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent example of the style.
