0,33 flaske fra sjappe på Long Street (Cape Town), på hotellrommet feb-20: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med kort skum. En god pale ale i engelsk stil - appelsinmarmelade, karamell, barskog og kjeks. Fin kropp. Mild, saftig bitterhed i afslutningen, som også inneholder den viktige mersmaken.

(Bottle, 0.44 l, thanks brunnsbe, 20190602) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, grass and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A rather pleasant malty brew with lightly too sweet notes.

Clear golden, white head. Malty, grainy aroma. Sweet flavour, biscuit malt, low nondescript bitterness.

Clear amber, offwhite froth. Caramely aroma, some butterscotch. Malty, caramely flavour, light hoppy bitterness, some fruity notes too.

Brought by Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran from South Africa. Huge thanks for this! Shared with them in a tasting session in June 2017. Clear golden, off-white head. Lightly hoppy, maybe herbs. Malts. Light bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, lightly hoppy finish. Good. Might not have been fresh.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber with a lasting foamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, light chocolate, biscuit, dried fruits and hint of stewed veg. Light sweetness, medium bitterness, and an odd metallic edge. Moderate body, oily and watery texture, average carbonation.

0.33 l bottle from Prague, thanks Višnja666 and Goran for sharing. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Cardboard. Some esters coming through. Taste is light bitter with sweet banana notes. Medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, light finish.
