Hand-pulled half-pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 29th June 2014, the last pub on my mini pub crawl that day. Pours a good looking amber colour with a full head. Dry hop feel to the whole brew although there is a strong maltines mid-mouthful. I enjoyed it even though there were hints of citrus fruits within the flavours and aroma, which I am now tiring of.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark orangey golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious Xmas-spicy aroma, honey, cinnamon, and clove are explicitly detectable, also a peppery touch. Taste is cautiously spicy, minimally soapy, hints of honey, cinnamon, the soapy touch may stem from the ginger. Slightly discouraged, droopy, cautious - not overdone on the other hand. Meh.
