12oz bottle. A really odd Saison. Hazy yellow-gold with a thin white head. Sweet, delicate flowery hop and candy sugar, funky yeast aroma. Sort of like a Dutch Maibock more than a Saison, the malt is really sweet, touches of meady honey, and there are lots of fruity yeast tones. Sweet fruity finish, some mellow tropical hop tones. Quite unique, this one really grew on me as I sipped it, quite a bit of depth, semi-challenging beer.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of brett, caramel, malt, and vanilla. The falvor is sweet with notes of caramel, bread, wood, vanilla, and a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry and slightly tart finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours an almost clear deep amber with a small and creamy beige head. Sweet oaky aroma. Rich body, sweet caramel aroma, quite some oak - and an unfortunate, strange chemical edge to it. No real bitterness. Not entirely hot. 260412

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of caramel and grassy hops. Taste is very light bitter. Grassy hops and caramel malt. Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I’ll drink this one but wouldn’t seek it out.

Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Flat carbonation but a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Interesting take on the style and I’m glad I’m drinking this one, but I wouldn’t seek it out.
